Balding for Dollars
Quarantine Kuts For Kids

Because bald is beautiful

Since its inception in 2000, more than $5 million has been raised for oncology, hematology and bone marrow transplant patients at BC Children's Hospital through Balding for Dollars. These donations support a variety of programs and services aimed at enhancing the quality of life both during and after treatment for kids and families affected by cancer and blood disorders at BC Children's Hospital.

Help make a difference for more kids and their families. Make an online contribution, join an existing event, or register your own fundraising page for Balding for Dollars now. For more information, please visit

This 'event' is for anyone who wants to join our latest campaign and attempt a self-haircut, have someone in their household cut or shave their hair, OR wait until salons are open and get that much needed post-quarantine cut and raise some awareness and money while doing it!

We are hoping to raise awareness that childhood cancer doesn't stop just because of a pandemic, and these families in BC still need our programs support. We are innovating ways of getting people involved virtually and continuing to rally for those much needed funds.

So challenge your friends, sign up a fundraising page under our QKFK "location", film yourself, tag us on social media @baldingfordollars and lets have some fun and help some kids!

Balding for Dollars raises community awareness for childhood cancer and blood disorders, provides funding to support the oncology program at BC Children's Hospital, and supports kids and their families throughout their journey.

You can help by making a secure online donation to our fundraising page.

Thank you for your support.
