I’m taking a step in support of BC Children’s Hospital

I'm extremely fortunate to play soccer with an amazing group of women, all of whom I consider friends. One of my favorite players to play with, Tanya, is mother to Faith, a beautiful girl born with Stage 4 Chronic Renal Failure. Faith endured and overcame more challenges in her first year of life (punctured lung, hip dysplasia, heart complications, kidney complications) than some of us will ever experience and has come through these obstacles with a wonderfully optimistic attitude. Now 13 and preparing for a Kidney Transplant, Faith and her family are relying on BC Children's Hospital for specialized care they can't receive anywhere else. I'm running to raise funds for children like Faith.
