Help Me Help Sick Kids in BC

Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2022 Pie Throw. 

The Pie Throw is an annual Mining for Miracles fundraising event that pairs leaders from across the industry in a friendly fundraising competition. Whoever raises the most funds earns the right to publicly pie their competitor in the face, with their family, friends and business networks watching.  In my case as part of Teck's Team North it will be to pie our friends on Team South. 

I am so excited and proud to be part of this year's fundraising campaign.  Having been involved in the amazing work the Mining for Miracles teams have done over the years it will be great to become fully immersed...but hopefully pie free! 

The efforts to support the BC Children's Hospital have been so important to provide the critical care for children across Western Canada.  This years campaign to fund The Cellular and Regenerative Medicine Centre (CRMC) will support research to understand the genetic causes of those children with heart arrhythmias, to prevent cardiac arrest.  The first of its kind in Western Canada. 

My family and I are honoured to be supporting this campaign and thankful for the services the BC Children's Hospital provides to kids in BC and Western Canada.
