This summer it will be seven years since the diagnosis that changed our lives. Seven years of neurosurgeons, oncologists, rehab, drug trials, therapists, and cross-country hospital trips. Five and a half years of non-stop, daily chemo. Two plus years of trying to keep a kid with cancer safe and thriving in the midst of a global pandemic.

With years like this, it is easy to have moments of helplessness. As the mom of a child with cancer, there is so much I cannot change. 

But this?
