Balding for Dollars raises community awareness for childhood cancer and blood disorders, provides funding to support the oncology program at BC Children's Hospital, and supports kids and their families throughout their journey. We are the very family Baldings for dollars has directly suported.  They donated a wig for Kiera after she lost her hair from Chemo.  They have donated her bursarys every year for 4 years during her university degree.  They have involved us in fantastic events to help boost confidence and become apart of a community of others who understood what its like to be a family of childhood cancer.  Although it has been 7 years since we heard those words, "your child has cancer" I remember like it was yesturday. No mother ever wants to hear those words and no family ever wants to see their child suffer or endure what they do becuase of cancer.  "M", is for May, Mothers day,  Motivate and Make a difference.  I choose to spend my Mothers day the week before on May 6th shaving my head at an incredable event and for the greatest cause  to support the children and the familys in the oncology program at BCCH.  I hope you are Modivated to dig deep into your hearts and your wallets to support me in raising my goal so together we can make a difference.  Thank you in advance for your generosity family and friends and for me, it's the very least I can do!
