Please join me in supporting Balding for Dollars.
When my daughter was first diagnosed with luekemia as an young teenager, we went through many challenges, for her, losing her hair was one of them. As she battled this invisible disease, I realised that I could shave my head to show support to her, as chemo made her lose her hair. I have shaved during this event a number of times now, and have met some great people. As my wife and daughter are currently finishing breast cancer treatments, I will again cut my hair, to show my support.
This year I also have another reason to shave my head. My young cousin Ollie is beginning his luekemia Journey at BCCH right now, so if you can help support or donate, everything and anything is appreciated. Thank-you.
Balding for Dollars raises community awareness for childhood cancer and blood disorders, provides funding to support the oncology program at BC Children's Hospital, and supports kids and their families throughout their journey.
You can help by making a secure online donation to my fundraising page.
Thank you for your support.
