What if Childhood Illness didn't exist?
Think back to your fondest childhood memory. Who was there? What were you doing? Three of mine were biking when camping in Fort Langley, playing Pokémon in the back of car on road trips, and swimming in the lake at Osoyoos.
For many of us, we could not imagine a life without those experiences, but many children who attend BC Childrens Hospital are robbed of those memories from long term illness. Biking in the summer air is replaced with long procedures, recovering from pain, and suffering in the silence of hospital beds.
BC Childrens has supported my family immensely, helping treat my younger brother Donovan over the years with his cancer journey.
To help support some of the inspirational, super-hero children at BC Childrens, I'll be shaving my head and raising money that will go directly to BC Childrens Hospital Foundation. Help me by donating today and joining me for our celebration on May 11th!
All donations done through a secure portal and accompanied by a tax receipt.
Thank you for your support in helping conquer childhood illness.
