This May, we're helping kids at BC Children's Hospital get out of their hospital gowns and back into their jeans. Last year, 100,000 patients visited BC Children’s Hospital—the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to kids. 

Last May I pledged $2 from every order to be donated to BC Childrens for Jean Up! - because I had interacted with so many families who had experienced care there. I could never have known that when my own daughter was born on May 30th 2021 that we would end up spending two week at BC Childrens in the NICU. 

Tasman was born at 41 weeks, at a very healthy 8lb 12oz, however she suffered meconium aspiration as well as a neumothorax (collapsed lung) at birth. She was on a ventilator for her first week of life meaning my husband Joe and I weren't able to hold her until she was 7 days old. I cannot begin to articulate how thankful we are to the staff at BC Childrens and the NICU in particular for the incredible care they provided Tassie, as well as Joe and I through one of the hardest times in our lives. 

Once again this year we will be donating $2 from every sale to BCCHF. Additionally, in a few weeks our sweet Tassie will be turning ONE! We are so excited to celebrate with a big fundraiser to close out the month of May.
