Our Message

The 2022 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest (CYVAC) is hosted by Youth Initiative Vancouver (YIV), and co-organized by Academy of Modern Art (AOMA). The contest aims to encourage multicultural communication and philanthropic endeavors and discover outstanding artistic and design talents worldwide.

During this year's CYVAC, we received 599 outstanding entries from 10 countries and regions. The winning art and design pieces will be selected by our jury, including internationally esteemed artists, top university art professors, and renowned senior-level competition judges. The winning entries will be auctioned for the public good.

The competition is not only an activity to connect the world with art, but also a platform to express love and care for society and charity with art.

This year, we will be fundraising to support BC Children's Hospital.

As the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to children, almost a million kids count on BC Children's Hospital. Your donation will help ensure kids from across the province receive the best possible health care when they need it. That includes everything from innovative research and specialized equipment to programs that comfort kids and families when it's needed most.

Together, we can create new possibilities for kids and families across the province.

Thank you so much for your support!
