Because we believe bald is beautiful…

Since its inception in 2000, Balding for Dollars has raised over $5.0 million dollars for oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant patients at BC Children’s Hospital. These funds support a variety of programs and services aimed at enhancing the quality of life of our patients and their families, during and after treatment.

There are many ways you can make a positive difference in the life of a child and family living with a cancer diagnosis:

Presented by École Kwantlen Park Secondary Student Council

In memory of a former grade 12 inter-A graduate student that lost the fight against cancer shortly after graduating in 2009, École Kwantlen Park Secondary School hosts an annual fundraising event in support of Balding for Dollars – a charity organization that raises funds to help support patients and families in the oncology, hematology and BMT program at BC Children’s Hospital. As usual, this year’s event will include haircuts, hair donations, and head shaves but you need not cut your locks to get involved. We are working toward a goal of raising $3000 and all donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated! With the small incentives of enjoyable milestone rewards and an exciting lunch event prepared, there is much in store for everyone at École Kwantlen Park Secondary at our annual Balding for Dollars fundraising event on Wednesday, May15th.
