Since its inception in 2000, Balding for Dollars has raised over $5.0 million dollars for oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant patients at BC Children’s Hospital. These funds support a variety of programs and services aimed at enhancing the quality of life of our patients and their families, during and after treatment.

Bands, BBQ, Beers & Balding
On Saturday, April 20th, our Okanagan champion, Bernie Ryan, will once again host this year’s Bands, BBQ, Beers & Balding (BBBB) event at one of the best Kelowna venues – The Laurel Packinghouse.
Bernie is also proud to announce that the Okanagan Chef’s Association, in conjunction with Okanagan College, will once again be providing a fantastic dinner in support of Balding for Dollars and JoeAnna’s House through the Kelowna General Hospital.
The party runs from 6pm-midnight and tickets are $70/each (includes dinner).
This year some of the head shaves will take place before the event, in private, and only a few will take place at the actual event. Volunteers and participants are always welcome. For more details and to find out how you can get involved in this beautiful evening, contact Bernie Ryan.
